Synopsis:
14-year-old Ying and her sister Mei light lanterns, mum prepares dinner and only dad is missing for the Chinese mooncake festival to begin. However, the lanterns catch fire and dinner gets ruined but worse is: dad isn’t coming home. “Tiger” is the story of how a fire in the kitchen turns a little girl into a young woman - as day breaks the morning after, Ying is left to take care of her family alone.
